Roxy #11 is a difficult dog to figure out at times. This 6-year-old Golden has had a rough life where she spent every day in a wire-bottom hutch. In her kennel, she’s very reactive, but when she’s out of her kennel, she’s a sweet dog that will approach for gentle attention. Stop petting and she’ll ask for more but not hugs or restraint. No other dogs, cats, or kids for Roxy. She’ll need to be muzzled for vet trips, and this girl just needs time to be socialized very gently and at her own pace and given a new chance at life.
Note: Roxy’s Behavioral Assessment has been updated.
