Sam is a big, beautiful boy. This 2-year-old Golden-hearted dog (probably with Great Pyrenees in him) seems like a gentle giant. He loves people and will sit close and nudge for attention. He’s a bit submissive at first and is very sweet. Sam is heartworm positive and will need to return for treatment. He’s a bit watchful with other dogs and will need to be the only dog in the household. He seems fine with calm dogs but growls a bit when the activity level increases.
