Seminar: Living with and Training a Fearful Dog

Few people realize the challenges they may face when they bring home a fearful dog. Renowned dog trainer, Debbie Jacobs, CPDT-KA, CAP2 will lead this all-day workshop on Sat., April 29, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Golden Gateway.

Despite good intentions, fearful dogs can remain wary and shy of people, other dogs, new experiences, and objects. The best chance of improvement lies in owners having a complete understanding of why dogs are afraid and the most effective and humane ways to help them learn to be more comfortable in their world.

Debbie will provide the information you need to face the difficult and often frustrating work of helping these dogs. The information provided in this seminar will be applicable to all levels of fear and wariness displayed in dogs.

Cost: $85 (Early bird registration prior to 3/31/17); $95 (Regular registration 4/1/17 and later). Registration closes 4/24/17.

Lunch will be provided.
